I’ve tried using asio4all along with virtual audio cable and it’s so close to what I want but I presume this is a limitation of asio4all as a driver, not dealing with midi at all. Faster ram means less read write time between button press and sample playback. Latency has nothing to do with MIDI. Last edited by Zelos; at Sign up using Email and Password.

Do you need top-notch audio-quality? The fact is that I heard that just connecting a Keyboard to the PC could cause a big latency, so I was wondering if it was better to take the 2I4 in order to not have it I want some spare for inputs and midj.

asik4all It makes sense Microsoft would respond to the need for such a basic mod to the OS Steinberg made, when users would go to Linux instead if necessary.
