Hello Dean, Thank you for keeping us updated on the status of the issue. The USB driver provided by the operating system is loaded automatically in this case. Now inside that folder there will be two folders usb32 and usb64, since we are here for a Win 7 x64 cause we should use the usb64 folder. Did this solve your problem? According to the ATMEL discussion groups, this driver sometimes doesn’t install correctly on the 1st attempt, needs to be removed and re-installed. How satisfied are you with this response? Now some logs will appear and it should say succeeded. I’m hoping someone can help.
