I did at first think it installed an excessive amount of software for such a relatively simple device – for example, the Microsoft Jet database engine – but then I remembered the “over 50, disks” thing.
With a five-stage tower, this thing would be a monster—So there is definitely a trade off between automation, physical space, and economy.
Installation is very quick using XP. If organising your imxtion is a big headache, Imation might have the cure – in the form of their “Disc Stakka”.
